Disassembly
1. Clamp the differential in a vice with soft jaws.
2. Unscrew the bolts securing the driven gear of the main transmission and remove the gear from the differential box.

3. With a special tool (09433-21000) remove the tapered bearing.
Warning: Do not reuse a bearing removed from the differential case.

4. Using a fine punch, knock the cylindrical pin out of hole "A" of the differential case.
5. Knock out the satellite shaft from the differential box and remove the satellites and washers.

6. Remove the axle gears and thrust washers.
Assembly
1. Install the adjusting shims and axle gears into the differential case.

Warnings.
- When installing a new axle gear, install a 1.0 mm thick shim.
- Do not reuse the roll pin.
2. Install the thrust washers from the rear of the satellites and, turning, insert the satellites with washers into the differential box.
3. Insert the satellite axle through the holes in the differential box and satellites.

4. Measure the clearance between the axle gear and the satellite.

5. If the play exceeds the permissible limits, disassemble the differential case and install a gasket of the required thickness.
Warning: Adjust the play on both sides to the required values.
- Backlash: 0.025-0.150 mm
6. Align the hole in the satellite shaft with the hole in the differential box and insert the cylindrical pin.
Warnings.
- Do not reuse the cylinder pin.
- The end of the cylindrical pin should protrude no more than 3 mm from the surface of the differential box flange.

7. Special tool (09455-21100) install tapered roller bearings on both sides of the differential case. When pressing the bearings, apply force to the inner bearing race.

8. Install the final drive driven gear onto the differential case. Apply a thin layer of sealant to the threads of the final drive driven gear mounting bolts, screw in the bolts and tighten them to the required torque in the sequence shown in the figure.

- Tightening torque: 130-140 Nm
